Ingredients
-
60 g Butter, unsalted
-
200 g Sugar, white
-
120 ml Milk, whole milk
-
25 g Cocoa, powdered, unsweetened
-
170 g Peanut butter, smooth, without salt
-
1 spoon Vanilla, extract, imitation
-
240 g Oat bran, raw
-
1 pinch Salt, table
Steps
-
In a saucepan, add butter, sugar, milk, and cocoa powder. Place it on the stove and slowly heat the mixture over medium heat until the butter melts. Once the mixture comes to a boil, cook it without stirring for 1 minute, then remove the saucepan from the heat and immediately mix in the peanut butter and vanilla extract.
-
Stir the cereal and salt into the chocolate-peanut butter mixture. Let it sit for 5 minutes to allow the cereal to absorb the liquid.
-
While the mixture is resting, line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Use a spoon to scoop the prepared mixture and place it in mounds on the prepared baking sheets. Leave a few centimeters of space between the mounds, and if desired, you can slightly flatten them with the back of the spoon.
-
Refrigerate the cookies for 1 hour to allow the mixture to set and firm up.
