Steps

Heat all the chocolate (save some for later) and butter to 45 degrees Celsius. Mix in the vanilla extract and let the mixture cool slightly.

Sift the flour, baking powder, and cocoa into a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and mix all the ingredients well. Chop the reserved chocolate into small pieces and mix them into the dry ingredients.

Beat the eggs and sugar with an electric mixer until you get a fine cream. Mix the chocolate-butter mixture into the cream, then add the dry ingredient mixture and gently but thoroughly mix to form a uniform dough. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for half an hour to cool and firm up.

Shape the cooled dough into balls, roll them in powdered sugar, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 160 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.
