Ingredients
-
100 g Cocoa, powdered, unsweetened
-
15 g Powdered sugar
-
75 ml Milk, skimmed
-
5 pieces Kiwi, fresh
-
215 g Sugar, brown
-
1 teaspoon Vanilla, extract, natural
-
5 pieces Egg, egg white, fresh
-
75 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
0.5 teaspoons Baking powder
-
75 g Flour, oat
-
100 ml Sweet cream
-
1 teaspoon Powdered sugar
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Cut 4 kiwis crosswise and scoop out the flesh with a spoon (reserve one for decoration). Chop the kiwi flesh.
-
Mix cocoa powder and powdered sugar with skim milk using a whisk until smooth. Add the kiwi, brown sugar, and vanilla essence.
-
Lightly beat the egg whites with a whisk or electric mixer. Add the cocoa mixture and beat vigorously until frothy. Sift the flour and baking powder together onto the mixture, add the oatmeal, and mix everything well. Pour the batter into the prepared baking tray.
-
Bake the batter in the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Let the baked cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert it onto a wire rack and remove the baking paper. Thinly peel the reserved kiwi and slice it, then cut the slices into quarters. Whip the cream with powdered sugar using an electric mixer until stiff. Cut circles from the cooled cake using a glass or round mold, place them on a serving plate, decorate with cream and kiwi slices. Serve.
