Chocolate Dipping Cookies
A morning indulgence you wont be able to resist - these cookies will make it much easier to get up in the morning, brew some tea, white coffee, or hot chocolate, and treat yourself. The ingredients yield 24 to 30 cookies.

110 g Butter, unsalted

150 g Sugar, white

2 piece Egg, fresh

1 piece Egg, egg yolk, fresh

1 teaspoon Vanilla, extract, natural

230 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour

1 teaspoon Baking powder

0.25 teaspoons Salt, table

80 g Cocoa, powdered, unsweetened

90 g chocolate, dark
Steps

Preheat the oven to 177 °C. Place the rack in the middle position. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Chop the white chocolate into pieces.

In a bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Gradually add the eggs and egg yolk, and finally the vanilla. Mix until you get a creamy batter.

In another bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder, and mix well. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the bowl with the eggs and butter, and mix until you get a uniform dough. Fold in the white chocolate pieces.

Transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface and divide it into two parts. Using damp hands, shape each part into a 25 cm long log. Place the logs on the baking sheet, making sure there is enough space between them as the dough will spread slightly during baking. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Let the baked logs cool on a rack for 10 minutes.

Transfer the logs to a cutting board and slice them diagonally into 1 cm thick slices. Place the slices on the baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Then flip them and bake for another 8 to 10 minutes. Let the baked cookies cool on a rack, then arrange them on a serving plate and serve.
