Advice
If you dont have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into cups and let it set in the freezer until firm - it should not freeze completely! Its best to place the mixture in flat metal containers, which conduct heat best. After combining the egg yolks and milk and the mixture has cooled, you can grate chocolate into the mixture or add chocolate crumbs for a better flavor. Store the ice cream in the freezer in well-sealed containers to prevent it from absorbing other odors. Fill the ice cream makers container only two-thirds full, as the mixture expands during freezing. The mixing time in the machine depends on the quantity, additives, and temperature of the mixture. Ice cream that has been in the freezer for more than 12 hours should be placed in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes before use.
