Ingredients
-
75 g chocolate, dark
-
1 dl Sweet cream
-
30 g Sugar, white
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
1 spoon Cocoa, powdered, unsweetened
-
2 cl Alcohol, Coffee liqueur
Steps
-
In a small pot, bring four deciliters of water to a boil, which we will use for a water bath. Place a bowl over the water bath and finely chop the chocolate into it. Melt the chocolate into a smooth mixture, stirring occasionally. Let the melted chocolate cool.
-
Separate the egg yolks from the whites into two bowls. Beat the egg whites into stiff peaks. Mix the egg yolks and sugar into a frothy mixture, then add cocoa powder and orange liqueur. Whip the heavy cream until stiff. Gradually add the melted chocolate and whipped cream to the egg mixture. Mix well with a whisk and finally gently fold in the egg whites to create a creamy and light mousse.
-
Carefully pour the chocolate mousse into small cups and place them in the refrigerator for three hours to cool and set. Before serving, decorate as desired.

Instead of orange liqueur, you can use other types of fruit liqueurs. You can also omit the alcohol.
