Ingredients
Flavored cream
-
125 ml Sweet cream
-
1 spoon Sugar, white
-
1 pinch Vanilla, extract, natural
-
100 g Rice, white, short grain
-
8.5 dl Milk, whole milk
-
3 spoons Sugar, white
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
1 piece Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
180 g chocolate, dark
Steps
-
Place the rice in a colander. Rinse it under cold running water until the water runs clear. Drain the rinsed rice and transfer it to a larger pot. Add milk, sugar, salt, and the cinnamon stick. Place the pot on the stove and bring the mixture to a boil.
-
Once the milk boils, reduce the heat and slowly cook the rice, stirring occasionally, for 15 to 20 minutes or until the grains absorb all the liquid and become soft.
-
Roughly chop the chocolate. Gradually add it to the pot with the rice. It's important to gently stir the rice several times during cooking and ensure it doesn't stick to the bottom.
-
Once the chocolate rice pudding is cooked, remove it from the heat and take out the cinnamon stick. Divide it into bowls or glasses and let it cool.
-
Pour the sweet cream into a bowl. Using a hand whisk or a hand mixer, whip it until it thickens. Then add sugar and vanilla, and continue whipping for another minute until the cream stiffens.
-
Garnish the cooled chocolate rice pudding with a dollop of flavored whipped cream. Optionally, decorate with grated chocolate and serve the prepared dessert.

Advice
Instead of vanilla powder, you can use vanilla extract or vanilla sugar. The most aroma and flavor will be achieved if you use fresh vanilla seeds.
