Ingredients
-
175 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
75 g Koruzni škrob
-
75 g Sugar, white
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
125 g Butter, unsalted
-
125 g chocolate, dark
-
1 spoon chocolate, dark
-
2 spoons Nuts, almonds
Steps
-
Cut the butter into pieces. In a large bowl, thoroughly mix sugar, vanilla sugar, flour, cornstarch, and salt. Beat the egg and add it along with the butter pieces to the ingredients in the bowl. Mix all the ingredients well and knead into a dough. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for one hour.
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of 5 mm and use a suitable cookie cutter to cut out about 40 stars.
-
Prepare two baking trays lined with parchment paper. Place the stars on the trays and bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
-
Meanwhile, place a pot on the stove and fill it with water up to 1/3. Place a metal bowl on top, making sure it does not touch the water in the pot. Break the dark chocolate into the bowl and melt it over the water bath. Stir the chocolate frequently while heating to achieve a smooth and liquid chocolate mixture.
-
Cool the baked cookies on a wire rack, then decorate them with the melted chocolate. Decorate the stars with almond slices and decorative pearls, and wait about 20 minutes for the chocolate to completely harden.
-
Serve the prepared cookies on a platter and offer them to your guests.
