Ingredients
-
1 cup Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
1 cup Water
-
4 spoon Butter, unsalted
-
2 pinch Salt, table
-
3 pieces Egg, fresh
-
5 spoon Sugar, white
-
1 teaspoon Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
pieces Oil, vegetable oil, canola
Steps
-
Pour oil into a larger pot and heat it slowly. Place a saucepan with hot water, butter, and salt on the stove. While heating, gradually add flour and stir continuously to avoid lumps. Once all the flour is mixed in and the mixture becomes thicker, reduce the heat and crack eggs into a bowl. Beat the eggs, pour them into the dough, mix everything well, and immediately remove the saucepan from the heat.
-
Pour the prepared dough into a piping bag. Use a star-shaped nozzle. Squeeze 5 cm long strips into the well-heated oil and fry until golden brown. Fry 3 to 4 strips at a time. Remove the fried strips with a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper. Repeat until the dough is used up. Drain the sticks on a paper towel.
-
Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow plate and roll the still warm sticks in the mixture. Serve warm or cooled.

Advice
Fry in a large amount of fat. The food must float in it. For frying, use fats that do not contain water, such as coconut oil or good quality oil. The frying fat is hot enough when small bubbles form around a wooden spoon handle.
