Cinnamon Cookies

110 g Butter, unsalted

230 g Sugar, white

0.5 teaspoons Baking powder

1 piece Egg, fresh

0.5 teaspoons Vanilla, extract, natural

350 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour

2 teaspoons Spices, cinnamon, ground
Steps

In a bowl, mix sugar and baking powder. Add the diced butter, egg, and vanilla extract, then the flour. Knead the dough well and shape it into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and store it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 190 °C. In a smaller bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon for the coating. Shape the dough into 2 cm diameter balls and roll them in the coating.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the balls on it. Bake them in the preheated oven for 10 to 11 minutes. Transfer the baked cookies to a cooling rack, then arrange them on a serving plate and serve.
