Ingredients
Cinnamon sprinkle
-
25 g Sugar, brown
-
1 teaspoon Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
1 spoon Butter, unsalted
-
100 g Butter, unsalted
-
100 g Sugar, white
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
0.5 spoons Milk, whole milk
-
0.5 teaspoons Vanilla, extract, natural
-
200 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
0.5 teaspoons Baking powder
-
1 pinch Salt, table
Steps
-
In a bowl, add butter and sugar, and mix them well with an electric mixer. Add the egg, milk, and vanilla, then mix again to form a uniform mixture.
-
In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Combine the dry ingredients with the egg-butter mixture. Flatten the resulting dough ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and place it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
-
Roll out the chilled dough between two sheets of parchment paper to a thickness of 0.5 centimeters.
-
In a small bowl, mix the ingredients for the topping and spread it evenly over the rolled-out dough. Then, roll the dough along the longer side into a log, wrap it in parchment paper, and place it back in the refrigerator to rest for a while. This will make it easier and neater to slice later.
-
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Line a baking tray with used parchment paper. Unwrap the log and slice it into 1-centimeter thick rounds, placing them on the baking tray. Leave about 1 centimeter of space between them. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
