Classic Pizza
Before there were pizzerias on every corner, we used to make homemade pizzas in a large baking dish at home—thick, juicy, and generously topped. Sometimes you crave that feeling and all the aromas that develop in the kitchen while baking pizza.

Testo za pizzo
-
500 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
42 g Yeast, dry
-
1 teaspoon Sugar, white
-
3 dl Water
-
1 teaspoon Salt, table
Steps
-
Sift the flour, make a well in the center, and crumble the yeast into it. Sprinkle the yeast with a spoonful of sugar and add lukewarm water. Mix the ingredients in the well slightly and wait a few minutes for the yeast to activate.
-
Add salt to the edge of the flour and knead into a smooth dough. Shape it into a ball and cover it. Wait for it to double in size (about half an hour). If desired, you can divide the dough into several pieces and shape them into balls.
-
Roll out the dough slightly with a rolling pin, then place it in a baking dish and stretch it to the edges with your hands. Drizzle olive oil over the dough, then spread tomato pulp over it.
-
Add pizza ham, then grated pizza cheese, a bit of mozzarella, olives… Sprinkle with dried oregano and, if available, add a few fresh leaves.
-
Bake the pizza at 250 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes.
