Coconut Brownies

Ingredients

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease a deep square baking dish with a side of 21 cm well with butter, then line the bottom with baking paper. Sift the flour and baking powder into the dish. Add a pinch of salt and mix the ingredients in the bowl well.

Place a saucepan on the stove and add butter, cocoa powder, and sugar. Heat slowly on low heat until the sugar and butter dissolve. Stir the ingredients in the saucepan occasionally while heating to prevent the mixture from sticking to the bottom. Once you have a smooth chocolate mixture, remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool slightly.

Using a hand whisk, first mix the eggs into the cooled mixture, then add the mixture of flour, salt, and baking powder. Finally, stir in the coconut.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to spread it evenly across the dish and smooth the top. Place the dish in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. If the top of the batter starts to brown too much after 30 minutes of baking, cover it with a piece of aluminum foil or baking paper.

Let the baked brownie cool in the dish, then carefully remove it from the dish and cut it into 16 equal-sized pieces. Serve on a large plate or platter and enjoy.
