Ingredients
-
4 pieces Egg, egg white, fresh
-
30 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
250 g Coconut, flakes
-
150 g Sugar, white
-
2 spoons Vanilla, extract, natural
-
10 pieces Candied fruit
-
80 g chocolate, dark
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Prepare a large shallow baking tray and line it with baking paper. In a pot, combine egg whites, coconut flour, sugar, vanilla extract, and flour. Mix everything well until you get a smooth mixture without lumps.
-
Place the pot on the stove. Cook the mixture over medium heat for about 7 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent the dough from sticking to the bottom and sides of the pot. Once the mixture thickens, remove the pot from the heat.
-
Use a tablespoon to place larger dollops of the prepared mixture onto the baking tray and shape them into cones. Place a candied cherry on top of each cone. Then, place the baking tray in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, place a pot on the stove and fill it with water up to 1/3 of its height. Place a metal bowl on top, making sure the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water in the pot. Finely chop the milk chocolate couverture and melt it over the water bath, stirring constantly.
-
Once the cones are baked, let them cool slightly. Then, dip the bottom of each cone into the melted couverture. Wait for the cones to cool completely and the chocolate to harden, then arrange the cones on a serving platter and offer them to your guests.
