The preparation is very quick and simple, the only downside is that this dessert is not the most suitable for impatient sweet tooths, as it needs to cool well before serving.

Ingredients
Cream
-
50 g Butter, unsalted
-
30 g Sugar, white
-
1 teaspoon Sugar, white
-
1 piece Egg, egg yolk, fresh
-
200 g Breadcrumbs, dried
-
2 spoons Cocoa, powdered, unsweetened
-
1 spoon chocolate, dark
-
60 g Powdered sugar
-
2 spoons Alcohol, Rum
-
3 spoons Coffee, espresso
Steps
-
Finely grind the biscuits in a food processor. Transfer them to a bowl and mix with sifted sugar, cocoa powder, and chocolate powder. Add coffee and rum, and knead the ingredients with clean hands until you get a compact and sticky dough. Store it in the refrigerator until ready to use.
-
Using an electric mixer, beat the butter until fluffy, then add powdered sugar and finally the egg yolk.
-
Place a large piece of parchment paper on the work surface and roll out the dough into an even rectangle (about 0.5 cm thick). Spread the filling over it, then carefully roll it up using the parchment paper. Wrap the roll in plastic wrap and store it in the refrigerator for several hours (preferably overnight) to cool and firm up.
-
Unwrap the cooled roll and slice it into pieces. Serve on a nice plate or platter.
