1 cup Butter, unsalted

1.25 cups Sugar, brown

2 piece Egg, fresh

1 teaspoon Vanilla, extract, natural

2.5 cups Flour, Wheat, bread flour

500 g Date, fresh or dried

1 cup Candied fruit

230 g Candied fruit

1 cup Walnuts

0.5 cups Walnuts

0.5 cups Nuts, hazelnuts

0.5 cups Nuts, Brazilian, dried
Steps

Sort the nuts and roughly chop them. Remove the pits from the dates. Cut the candied fruit and dates into small pieces. Mix the nuts and fruit in a large bowl and sprinkle with 3/4 cup of flour. Mix well so that the flour adheres to the nuts and fruit.

In another bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Then add the eggs and vanilla. Mix well to combine all the ingredients. Add the remaining flour and baking powder, then mix in the floured nuts and fruit.

Preheat the oven to 175 °C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper or grease it. Using two spoons, drop mounds of dough onto the tray. Make about 36 mounds. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, until the cookies turn light brown.

Let the baked cookies cool on a wire rack, transfer them to a serving plate, and serve.
