Steps

Place a pot on the stove and pour in the milk. Wait for it to boil. Lower the temperature and add butter and salt. Slowly mix in the cornmeal while stirring continuously. Cook for about 2 minutes while stirring to get a thick polenta.

Then remove the pot from the heat and let the polenta cool. Add two eggs and mix the polenta well again. With clean hands, shape the polenta mixture into small balls.

Place a deep pan on the stove and heat the oil well. Fry the polenta balls in the hot oil until they turn golden brown. Remove the fried balls with a slotted spoon and transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels. Then serve them on plates and offer them to your guests as a side dish.
