2 spoons Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
1 piece Onion, raw
-
450 g Meat, beef, ground
-
2 pod Garlic, fresh
-
2 piece Tomato, red
-
1 piece Chili peppers, red chili, fresh
-
1 teaspoon Salt, table
-
2 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
0.5 teaspoons Spices, oregano, dried
-
100 g Cheese, edamame

8 pieces Tortilla, corn
Steps
-
Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Wash the tomatoes. With a sharp knife, remove the stem and cut them into small pieces. Wash the chili, clean it (remove the stem and seeds), and cut it into small pieces.
-
Place a pan on the stove and heat the oil. Add the onion and sauté it until it becomes translucent. Then add the ground meat and fry it on high heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once the meat is well browned, add the tomato, chili, and garlic, and fry everything together for another 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with pepper, salt, and oregano, then remove from heat.
-
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Line a low baking dish with parchment paper. Spread the corn tortillas on a clean work surface. Spoon the filling onto the lower half of the tortillas and sprinkle with grated cheese. Fold the other half of the tortilla over the filling and place the prepared tortillas on the baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
-
Serve the tortillas on plates and accompany them with salad and various sauces.

Instead of corn tortillas, you can also use wheat tortillas. Adjust the amount of chili according to your taste.
