Cottage Cheese Cake with Apples
A dessert that you can prepare in no time. Simply mix all the ingredients together, and at the end, fold in the egg whites. Youll get a juicy treat that will perfectly round off your meal. If you cant find oat flour in the store, grind the same amount of oat groats in a mill, and instead of cornstarch, you can also use vanilla pudding powder.

180 ml Yogurt, plain, from whole milk

1 dl Sour cream

100 g Sugar, white

1 teaspoon Spices, cinnamon, ground

Steps

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease a baking dish with butter. Separate the egg yolks and whites into two bowls. Beat the whites into stiff peaks.

Peel and grate the apples. Grate the lemon zest and add it to the bowl with the egg yolks, and use the lemon juice to drizzle over the grated apples.

Add the cottage cheese, yogurt, sour cream, 70 g of sugar, and vanilla sugar to the egg yolks. Mix the ingredients well.

In a separate bowl, mix the oat flour, cornstarch, and baking powder. Add this mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until you get a smooth batter without lumps. Fold in the grated apples, and finally, gently fold in the beaten egg whites.

Pour the batter into the baking dish and evenly sprinkle the top with the remaining 30 g of sugar mixed with cinnamon. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
