Cottage Cheese Pillows

650 g Cheese, cottage cheese

3 pieces Egg, fresh

200 ml Milk, whole milk

300 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

10 g Orange, shell

10 g Lemon zest, fresh

50 g Sugar, white

30 g Sugar, white

5 g Salt, table

1 handful Cranberries, dried

In a large bowl, add the cottage cheese, eggs, milk, orange and lemon zest, both types of sugar, salt, and flour. Mix all the ingredients into a dough that should be compact enough to form pillows. Add milk according to the moisture of the cottage cheese.

From the prepared dough, form pillows weighing approximately 120 g each, and just before baking, add cranberries (you can also use raisins).

Bake the pillows at a low temperature (160 degrees Celsius) for about 7 minutes. Serve the baked pillows on plates, dust with powdered sugar, and serve with whipped cream and/or fruit sauce.
