Ingredients
Dough
-
300 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
100 g Butter, unsalted
-
200 g Cheese, cottage cheese
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
3 spoons Sugar, white
Filling
-
10 spoon Marmalade, orange
-
1 piece Egg, egg yolk, fresh
Steps
-
Mix all the ingredients for the dough to form a sweet, crumbly dough. Shape the prepared dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for one hour.
-
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of 4 mm. Use a glass or cookie cutters to cut out slightly larger circles from the dough. Place a teaspoon of jam in the center of each circle, then fold the circle in half and press the edges together firmly. Use a fork to press the edges, leaving visible indentations. In a small bowl, beat the egg yolk well with a fork.
-
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and prepare a baking sheet. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it with butter and lightly flour it. Arrange the pockets on the baking sheet, brush them with the beaten egg yolk, and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, until golden brown. Remove the baked pockets from the oven and let them cool.
