Ingredients

2 piece Shallot

2 spoons Butter, unsalted

400 ml Alcohol, Wine, Red

200 ml Soup base, beef, cube

100 ml Juice, orange

2 piece Spices, cloves, ground

0.5 piece Spices, cinnamon, ground

100 g Cranberries, fresh

2 pinch Salt, table

1 pinch Spices, pepper, black
Steps

Peel, wash, and finely chop the shallots. Place a saucepan on the stove, melt the butter in it, and sauté the shallots while stirring constantly.

Add the wine, meat base, and orange juice, then include the cloves and cinnamon. Wait for it to boil, then cook the ingredients in the uncovered saucepan over medium heat for about 15 minutes.

Strain the base and reheat it. Add the cranberries and cook for another 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve as a side dish to your guests.
