Ingredients

1 l Milk, whole milk

100 g Sugar, white

1 bag Sugar, white

150 g Semolina

1 bag Pudding, vanilla

1 piece Egg, fresh

200 g Butter, unsalted

500 ml Sweet cream

50 g Powdered sugar
Steps

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Roll out the puff pastry and place it along with the paper onto a larger baking tray. Cover it with baking paper, weigh it down with a smaller baking tray, and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Trim the baked puff pastry so it can line the bottom of a baking dish measuring 25 x 35 centimeters.

Repeat the process with the second puff pastry, trimming it and cutting it into 12 pieces.

Pour 7 dl of milk into a pot, add sugar and vanilla sugar, and heat until boiling. Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix the remaining milk, wheat breadcrumbs, vanilla pudding, and egg. Once the milk boils, cook the breadcrumb mixture in it. Stir continuously and cook for 5 minutes, then strain the cream into a bowl and cover it with plastic wrap to prevent a skin from forming. Cool to room temperature, which can be sped up with a cold water bath.

Meanwhile, cut the butter into cubes and let it warm to room temperature. Once the cream has cooled, thoroughly mix in the butter using an electric mixer. Spread the mixture over the puff pastry and store the baking dish in the refrigerator to cool the cream.

Whip the sweet cream firmly together with powdered sugar. Spread it over the cream, then arrange the pieces of puff pastry on top. Refrigerate the dessert for at least 3 hours, and serve it dusted with powdered sugar.
