Ingredients

1 spoon Butter, unsalted

0.5 piece Onion, raw

2 pod Garlic, fresh

500 g Beans, fresh

500 ml Soup base, chicken, cube

1 dl Sweet cream, partially skimmed

1 pinch Salt, table

1 pinch Spices, pepper, black

1 bouquet Thyme, raw
Steps

Peel and wash half an onion and a clove of garlic. Cut them into larger pieces. Wash the peas and remove them from the pod. Wash the chives and finely chop them.

Melt a tablespoon of butter in a pot and add the onion. Stir the onion and when it becomes translucent, add the peas, quickly mixing them with the onion. Finally, add the garlic to the pot for aroma. Pour in the broth (or plain water) and cook on medium heat for about 15 minutes.

Blend the cooked soup using an immersion blender. Stir in some sweet cream and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the soup in bowls and sprinkle with chopped chives.
