40 g Ginger, fresh

Steps

Boil the potatoes, peel them, and mash them while still warm. Cook the ginger root in salted water to slightly reduce its spiciness. Then peel the ginger and finely grate it.

Using a mixer, blend the potatoes and ginger into a smooth cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Gently fold the cream into whipped sweet cream and serve it alongside hard-boiled eggs. For a finishing touch, drizzle everything with marjoram or another herbal oil.
