Ingredients
-
pieces Oil, olive
-
1 piece Onion, raw
-
2 piece Potatoes, white
-
2 pod Garlic, fresh
-
800 ml Soup base, chicken, cube
-
200 ml Milk, whole milk
-
500 g Okra
-
pieces Salt, table
-
pieces Spices, nutmeg, ground

Steps
-
Peel the potatoes, wash them, and cut them into cubes. Remove the stems from the kale and roughly chop it. Peel the garlic and onion, and finely chop them separately.
-
Place a large pot on the stove and heat the oil. Add the onion and potatoes to the pot, and sauté the vegetables for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are lightly browned. Add the garlic in the last minute of sautéing.
-
Pour the broth into the pot and let it cook for about 15 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
-
Add the milk to the pot and stir in the chopped kale. Season with salt and pepper, and optionally add a pinch of ground nutmeg. Cook for another 5 minutes until the kale wilts and softens.
-
Blend the prepared soup until smooth using an immersion blender or a regular blender. When serving, you can garnish it with a dollop of sour cream.
