Crispy Patterned Cookies
Our first steps in the kitchen are usually baking cookies. I present you with a recipe that works for everyone and is also suitable for beginners, yet the cookies look like they were made by true professionals.
Details
- Preparation Time: 50 minutes
- Cooking Time: 17 minutes
- Difficulty: 1
- Spiciness: 0
- Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients
-
250 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
50 g Nuts, almonds
-
100 g Powdered sugar
-
150 g Butter, unsalted
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
Steps
-
Mix flour, ground almonds, powdered sugar, butter cut into pieces, and an egg to form a dough. Let the dough rest in a cool place for half an hour.
-
Roll out the rested dough to about 4 mm thick, then cut out cookies in any desired shapes (I recommend square or round). Press a pattern into the center of each cut-out dough piece.
-
Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15 to 17 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
-
Let the cookies cool before serving. Once cooled, you can dust them with powdered sugar or decorate them as desired, but they are also beautiful without any additions, as the lovely pattern is enough to make them special.
