Drain the chickpeas from the can and rinse them thoroughly under running water. Place the rinsed chickpeas on paper towels and let them dry completely.

Transfer the dried chickpeas to a bowl, drizzle them with olive oil, and season with salt. Mix well to ensure the chickpeas are evenly coated.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Line a baking tray with parchment paper, spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer, and bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Stir once or twice during baking to ensure even roasting. Serve the roasted chickpeas warm or cold.
