Cut the tofu into larger cubes.

Prepare three bowls. In one, place crushed cornflakes, in the second, chickpea flour and all the spices, and in the third, mix all the wet ingredients.

First, coat the tofu cube in the mixture of flour and spices, then dip it into the milk, and finally roll it in the cornflakes. Repeat the process for each piece of tofu.

Bake the tofu in an air fryer at 186 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes. You can also bake it in the oven with the fan on for about 20-30 minutes. Flip the tofu halfway through baking.

While the tofu is baking, prepare a dipping sauce from mayonnaise, mustard, and maple syrup. Instead of the sauce, you can serve the crispy tofu bites with roasted potatoes or cooked grains and a salad. Enjoy your meal!
