Ingredients
-
350 g Oat bran, raw
-
70 g Seeds, pumpkin
-
100 g Nuts, almonds
-
100 g Nuts, hazelnuts
-
100 g Sugar, brown
-
60 ml Honey
-
2 spoons Water
-
1 teaspoon Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
0.25 teaspoons Salt, table
-
70 g Raisins
-
70 g Cranberries, dried
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius. In a large bowl, combine the granola with pumpkin seeds, almond flakes, and hazelnuts. In a saucepan, place brown sugar, honey, water, cinnamon, and salt. Stir the ingredients in the saucepan continuously and bring to a gentle boil. Once it boils, continue stirring and cook for another minute, then remove from heat.
-
Pour the hot mixture into the bowl with the granola, seeds, and nuts. Use a spatula or rubber spoon to mix thoroughly, ensuring the mixture is evenly distributed.
-
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread the granola evenly on it. Place it in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, until the granola turns golden brown. Every 10 minutes, stir the granola well to prevent clumping and ensure even baking.
-
Once the granola is golden brown, remove it from the oven and mix in the dried fruit. Allow it to cool completely before use.
