Ingredients
-
2 piece Sweet potato, unpeeled, fresh
-
200 g Meat, pork, ground
-
0.5 bouquet Thyme, raw
-
6 slice Bread, wheat
Steps
-
Wash the cucumbers and dry them with a kitchen towel. Using a narrow vegetable peeler or a small sharp knife, cut thin strips of the peel along the entire length to create a striped pattern (see image). Slice the cucumbers into 1.5 cm thick rings and slightly hollow out each ring with a spoon to create a small indentation. We need 24 rings.
-
Toast the bread slices in a lightly greased pan until golden brown on both sides. Place the toasted slices on a board and use a round cookie cutter to cut 4 circles from each slice. Arrange them on a serving platter.
-
Place one cucumber ring on each toast base, making sure the indentation is visible. Fill a piping bag with a star-shaped nozzle with the pâté and pipe it into the cucumber rings (see image).
-
Wash the chives, shake them dry, and finely chop them. Sprinkle the chopped chives over the pâté. Serve the prepared appetizers.
