Cucumbers in Cream Sauce

Ingredients

1 spoon Oil, olive

1 spoon Butter, unsalted

1 piece Onion, raw

1 pod Garlic, fresh

500 g Sweet potato, unpeeled, fresh

1 dl Soup base, chicken, cube

1 dl Sour cream

pieces Salt, table

Steps

Peel the cucumbers, cut them in half lengthwise, and remove the seeds. Grate or slice the cucumbers thinly. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.

Heat oil and butter in a deep pan, then sauté the onion in the fat.

Once the onion turns golden brown, add the garlic, and as soon as it becomes fragrant, add the cucumbers. Sauté for two minutes, then pour in the base or water. Cook for 10 minutes.

Stir in the sour cream at the end, season with salt and pepper, and cook for another minute. Serve the prepared dish with mashed potatoes.
