Curry Rice

Ingredients

3 spoons Oil, vegetable oil, canola

1 piece Onion, raw

3 pods Garlic, fresh

4 teaspoon Spices, curry powder

2 cups Rice, white, long grain

Steps

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Heat oil in a large pot and sauté the onion until translucent. Add the garlic, curry, and rice, and stir-fry everything together for 2 more minutes.

Pour water over the ingredients in the pot and season with salt. Wait for the liquid to boil, then reduce the heat, cover the pot, and cook the rice for 15 minutes. Do not stir the rice while it cooks!

After 15 minutes of cooking, remove the pot from the heat. Let it sit for 5 minutes to allow the rice to absorb all the liquid. Fluff the prepared rice with a fork. Serve it as a side dish with fish, meat, or vegetable dishes.
