Ingredients

250 g Date, fresh or dried

150 g Meat, pork, smoked bacon

80 g Cheese, feta

Using a sharp knife, open the dates and remove the pits. Be careful to keep both halves still connected. Cut the feta cheese into smaller pieces, or better yet, crumble it. Slice the bacon into thin strips.

Fill each date with feta cheese, close it, and wrap it with a strip of bacon. Place a pan on the stove and heat it well. Quickly sear the prepared dates in the pan until the bacon crisps. Shake the pan several times to ensure the dates are evenly browned on all sides.

Insert a toothpick into the prepared dates, arrange them on a plate, and serve.
