Delicate Nutella Rolls
When the stores are closed and you crave something sweet, these delicate and delicious mini rolls are the perfect solution. You probably already have all the necessary ingredients at home, and the rolls are ready in less than half an hour, including baking.

Ingredients

500 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

0.5 bags Baking powder

1 pinch Salt, table

200 g Butter, unsalted

100 g Sugar, white

1 piece Sugar, white

180 g Sour cream

In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the cold butter cut into cubes and use your fingertips to rub the fat into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles crumbs. Mix in the regular and vanilla sugar, add the sour cream, and knead into a smooth and pliable dough that is very easy to shape.

Place the dough on a floured surface and roll it out into a square approximately 40 x 40 centimeters in size. You can also do this by placing a suitably sized piece of parchment paper under the dough and rolling it out to the edges. This way, the thickness of the dough will be just right.

Cut the dough into 5 strips, each about 8 centimeters wide. Using a piping bag, pipe a line of Nutella (or another spread or heat-stable jam) down the center of each strip.

Fold the dough over the filling from the left and right sides and gently press the edges together with your fingers to seal the filling. Then flip the rolls over and press them down slightly.

Using a sharp knife, cut the rolls into approximately 6-centimeter-long 'strudels,' place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Let the baked rolls cool slightly, then dust them with powdered sugar and serve.
