Dessert with Biscuits, Pudding, and Cherries
A delightful dessert with a base and topping made of biscuits, layered with vanilla pudding cream and cherries. You can use any rectangular-shaped biscuits, and cherries can be substituted with other fruits like sweet cherries.

1 l Milk, whole milk

3 bags Pudding, vanilla

1.5 spoons Koruzni škrob

150 g Sugar, white

150 g Butter, unsalted

2 dl Sweet cream

1 piece Cherries, fresh

200 g Breadcrumbs, dried

In two deciliters of milk, mix two pudding powders and cornstarch. Pour the remaining milk into a pot, add 100 grams of sugar, and heat until it reaches a slight boil. While continuously stirring, pour in the milk with the pudding powder. Cook for about 5 minutes until the pudding thickens, then transfer it to a larger bowl and cover with plastic wrap to prevent a skin from forming. Let it cool to room temperature.

In a deciliter of cherry juice from the compote, mix the third pudding powder. Cook the remaining juice along with the cherries and 50 grams of sugar for 5 minutes.

Reduce the heat and slowly, while stirring, pour in the mixture of juice and pudding powder. Cook for another two minutes until the mixture thickens.

Pour the cherry pudding into another bowl, then cover it with plastic wrap and let it cool to room temperature.

Once the vanilla pudding has cooled, beat it together with softened butter until smooth. Whip the cream and fold it into the pudding mixture.

Arrange biscuits, quickly dipped in milk, on the bottom of a 30 x 25 cm baking dish. Spread half of the vanilla cream over the biscuits, carefully layer the cherries on top, and then spread the remaining vanilla cream over the cherries.

Place another layer of milk-dipped biscuits on top, then refrigerate the dish for at least two hours. Serve with whipped cream and candied cherries if desired.
