Chocolate heaven. A little effort in shaping and you get a romantic dessert for two (save the rest, as this is way too much for two!).

Ingredients
-
250 g chocolate, dark
-
200 g Butter, unsalted
-
0.5 dl Alcohol, Rum
-
200 g Sugar, brown
-
1 bag Vanilla, extract, natural
-
180 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
50 g Cocoa, powdered, unsweetened
-
5 pieces Egg, fresh
-
20 g Butter, unsalted
-
200 g chocolate, dark
-
1 dl Milk, whole milk
Steps
-
In a small bowl, melt the butter and cooking chocolate together to form a smooth mixture. Remove from heat, stir in most of the rum, and let it cool slightly. In a larger bowl, mix brown sugar, vanilla sugar, flour, and cocoa powder. Pour in the chocolate mixture and add the eggs. Mix everything well with a mixer to get a uniform and smooth batter.
-
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Grease a baking pan well with butter and pour in the chocolate batter. In a small bowl, melt the dark chocolate, add a little milk and rum, and mix well. Keep the melted chocolate warm (while the brownies are baking).
-
Place the baking pan in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes. Cut the baked brownies with round molds. Arrange the round brownies on a tray and drizzle each one with the melted chocolate, flavored with rum, then cool everything well and serve.

Advice
Instead of a dark chocolate glaze, you can use chocolate pudding or store-bought chocolate glaze that sets firmly and becomes crispy. Store brownies in well-sealed plastic containers, as they can dry out in the fridge and lose their true flavor. They can last in the pantry for 4 to 6 months. If you want to make low brownies, use a classic black low baking pan; if you want to bake voluminous brownies, use a deep metal or glass baking dish. Line the baking pan with parchment paper before baking – it will save you cleaning time. Let the baked brownies rest briefly on the pan to cool slightly before cutting them. If adding nuts to the brownie batter, the best are roasted coarsely ground nuts. To enhance the flavor, drizzle chocolate glaze (sweet sin) or some homemade jam over the brownies. For a romantic evening, cut the brownies into heart shapes and decorate them with red rose petals or use flowers as a bed to place the brownies on.
