Dried Figs with Chocolate

Ingredients

100 g chocolate, dark

80 ml Sweet cream

1 handful Nuts, almonds

8 pieces Figs, fresh
Steps

Cut the figs in half. Break the dark chocolate into smaller pieces. Place a pot with half a liter of water on the stove, and place a bowl with the chocolate pieces on top. Melt the chocolate over a water bath and slowly add the sweet cream. Once the chocolate has melted, turn off the stove and whisk the chocolate well to create a smooth mixture.

Dip the fig halves into the melted chocolate, then place them on a rack and wait at least half an hour for the chocolate to set.

Place the pot back on the stove and melt the remaining chocolate. Mix the roasted almonds into the melted chocolate. Arrange the chocolate-covered figs on a tray and pour the remaining dark chocolate and almonds over them. Serve to your guests.
