Ingredients
-
185 g Butter, unsalted
-
125 g Sugar, white
-
2 piece Egg, fresh
-
2 teaspoons Vanilla, extract, natural
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
550 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
1 bag Egg, egg yolk, powdered
-
470 g Sugar, white
-
pieces Vanilla, extract, imitation
Steps
-
In a bowl with a mixer, cream the sugar and softened butter until fluffy. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and salt, and mix well. Finally, add the flour and knead everything into a smooth dough. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
-
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to 3 mm thickness and cut out bunnies with a knife. You can also use bunny-shaped cookie cutters. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the bunnies on it. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes until golden brown. Then remove them from the baking sheet and let them cool completely.
-
While the bunnies are baking, you can prepare the glaze. In a bowl with a whisk, mix powdered sugar, powdered eggs, and 1 dl of water until smooth. Divide the glaze into several smaller bowls and mix in a different color in each bowl.
-
Spread the glaze of your choice on the cooled bunny cookies. Children will be thrilled to decorate the bunnies themselves. Wait for the glaze to completely harden.
