Ingredients
-
130 g Bread, wheat
-
1 slice Cheese, Cheddar
-
1 slice Meat, pork, smoked ham
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
0.5 teaspoons Oil, olive
-
1 teaspoon Butter, unsalted
Steps
-
Cut the bread roll in half. Spread butter on one half. Crack an egg into a bowl and whisk it well. Place a small pan on the stove, add a drop or two of oil, and heat it up. Pour the egg mixture into the heated pan, season with salt, and cook over moderate heat.
-
When the outer edge of the omelet sets, use a spoon or spatula to pull the egg mixture from the edge towards the center. Do this for 1 to 1.5 minutes or until the omelet is almost fully cooked. Remove the pan from the heat and let the omelet rest in the pan for 1 to 2 minutes to finish setting. Then, transfer the omelet to a plate and fold it into a triangle. Place the pan back on the stove and add a slice of ham, lightly frying it on both sides (no more than 1 minute per side).
-
Place a slice of cheese on the buttered half of the bread roll. Add the fried ham, then place the egg omelet on top. Cover everything with the other half of the bread roll and enjoy while still warm.
