Ingredients
-
1 spoon Butter, unsalted
-
pieces Meat, pork, smoked bacon
-
4 slice Bread, wheat
-
4 spoon Cheese, edamame
-
4 pieces Egg, fresh
-
pieces Salt, table
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Grease the muffin tin well with melted butter. Take the bacon slices and gently press them against the sides of the greased muffin cups to create 'baskets' for the eggs. Allow one to two slices of bacon per muffin cup.
-
Toast the bread slices until golden brown in a toaster (or in a pan). Use a round cutter to cut appropriately sized circles from the toasted slices and place them at the bottom of the greased muffin cups. Add a little grated cheese to the cups, then crack an egg onto each cheese base. Lightly season the eggs with pepper and salt. Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
-
Once the egg 'muffins' are baked, use a blunt knife to remove them from the muffin tin and serve them on plates. Add a few pieces of toasted bread on the side and serve the prepared breakfast.

Advice
You can garnish the egg with one or two fresh parsley leaves before baking. If desired, you can fry the bacon slices in a pan before adding them to the muffin cups.
