Ingredients
-
65 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
80 g Sugar, white
-
30 g Cocoa, powdered, unsweetened
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
0.5 teaspoons Baking powder
-
0.25 teaspoons Baking powder
-
60 ml Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
1 teaspoon Vanilla, extract, imitation
-
200 ml Milk, whole milk
-
25 g chocolate, dark
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Generously grease four round heatproof molds (approximately 180 ml capacity) with butter and dust with cocoa powder (remove any excess cocoa). Break or cut the chocolate into 4 pieces.
-
In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and cocoa. Using a hand whisk, first mix in the oil and vanilla extract into the dry ingredients, then gradually mix in the milk. Once you achieve a smooth and uniform mixture without lumps, stop mixing.
-
Fill the molds with the prepared batter. Push the chocolate pieces into the center of each mold. Bake the cakes in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Once baked, let them rest for 5 minutes.
-
Carefully invert the cakes from the molds onto plates, dust with powdered sugar, optionally decorate with fresh fruit, and serve.
