Eggplant with Meat

Ingredients

1 piece Onion, young

2 pod Garlic, fresh

500 g Eggplant, raw

1 twig Spices, oregano, dried

300 g Tomato, pieces - can

500 g Meat, beef, shoulder

0.5 l Soup base, beef, cube

2 pinch Spices, chili powder

2 pinch Salt, table

1 pinch Spices, pepper, black

2 spoons Oil, olive
Steps

Peel the onion and garlic, then finely chop them. Wash the eggplant, clean it, and slice it into thin rounds. Wash the oregano, dry it, and remove the leaves. Cut the tomato into smaller pieces.

Place a wide pot on the stove and heat it up, then add oil. Sauté the onion and garlic along with the eggplant over medium heat for about 5 minutes.

Then add the ground meat and cook it while stirring until it browns. Pour in the broth and add the tomato pieces along with their juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and add chili and oregano.

Wait for it to come to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 30 minutes. Serve the prepared dish on plates and offer it to your guests.
