First, carefully wash and dry the eggs. Soak them for half an hour in vinegar diluted with water, which will soften even the hardest shell enough to absorb the color.

Carefully remove the eggs from the vinegar and place them in a pot. Pour cold Teran wine over them, ensuring there is enough to completely cover the eggs. Cook over moderate heat for about 15 minutes, then remove the pot from the heat. Let the eggs soak in the wine for several hours; it is recommended to leave them in the wine overnight.
