Ingredients
-
120 g Raisins
-
100 g Oat bran, raw
-
50 g Rice bran
-
80 g Coconut, flakes
-
50 g Nuts, hazelnuts, blanched
-
50 g Seeds, pumpkin
-
125 ml Honey
-
100 g Sugar, brown
-
100 g Butter, unsalted
Steps
-
Chop the dried fruit into small pieces. In a bowl with a kettle or a large spoon, mix the oats, rice cereal, dried fruit pieces, and coconut flour.
-
Place a pan on the stove and dry roast the hazelnuts and pumpkin seeds. Shake the pan several times during roasting to ensure the nuts and seeds are evenly roasted. Transfer the roasted hazelnuts and pumpkin seeds to the bowl with the cereal and dried fruit mixture.
-
Place a small pot on the stove with honey, sugar, and butter. Heat over medium heat while occasionally stirring. Once the mixture boils, cook for an additional 2 minutes to thicken.
-
Pour the hot mixture over the ingredients in the bowl and mix well to moisten the dry ingredients.
-
Transfer the mixture to a square baking dish (20 cm side) lined with parchment paper. Use wet hands to spread the mixture evenly in the dish. Let the mixture cool and set completely in the dish (about 2 hours).
-
Cut the mixture into squares or rectangles of your desired size. Store them in an airtight container at room temperature until use.

Instead of hazelnuts, you can use almonds, and optionally add sunflower or flax seeds.
