Ingredients
-
2 cups Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
6 dl Water
-
1 teaspoon Salt, table
-
5 spoon Oil, olive
-
1 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
1 piece Onion, raw
Steps
-
Pour lukewarm water into a large bowl, slowly whisk in the chickpea flour. Add salt and mix everything well to obtain a smooth mixture without lumps. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the batter rest overnight at room temperature.
-
The next day, preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius. Place a larger pan on the stove and pour in a little oil. Peel and chop one onion. Add the onion to the heated oil and sauté until it becomes translucent.
-
Uncover the bowl and skim off the top layer that formed overnight. Mix the remaining oil into the batter. Lightly season and pour the mixture into a baking dish. Sprinkle the sautéed onion on top. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, then let the dish cool, cut into smaller pieces, and serve.
