A one-pot meal is a great idea for a quick weekday lunch when we often lack time for cooking and cleaning.

Ingredients
-
200 g Meat, chicken, breasts
-
1 spoon Butter, unsalted
-
250 g Pasta, noodles, fresh
-
2 cups Milk, whole milk
-
1.5 cups Soup base, chicken, cube
-
pieces Garlic, fresh
-
120 ml Sweet cream
-
70 g Cheese, Parmesan, grated
-
pieces Salt, table
-
pieces Cheese, Parmesan, grated
Steps
-
Rinse the chicken breasts under running water, dry them well with paper towels, and cut them horizontally in half. Season both sides of the chicken halves with pepper and salt.
-
Place a large deep pan on the stove and add butter. Once the fat has melted, place the seasoned chicken in the pan and cook each side for about 2 minutes. Remove the cooked chicken from the pan and keep it warm on a plate. Let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice it as desired (slices, pieces, chunks).
-
Pour milk and broth into the pan. Add garlic and wait for the liquid to boil. Add the fettuccine and stir well with a spoon for the first 3 minutes of cooking to prevent it from sticking together. Once it softens, reduce the heat to medium and let it cook until al dente (9 to 10 minutes).
-
When the pasta is almost fully softened and there is still some liquid in the pan, add the cream and grated Parmesan. Stir well and cook for about 2 more minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is fully softened and the sauce thickens. Season with pepper and salt to taste, add the cooked chicken, mix everything well, and remove from heat.
-
Serve the prepared fettuccine on plates. Sprinkle some grated Parmesan and/or chopped parsley on top. Serve the dish immediately.

Advice
If the sauce thickens too much towards the end of cooking, thin it with hot water (add just a few tablespoons as needed, or more if necessary). Instead of fettuccine, you can use other types of pasta. Spaghetti, penne, etc., also work well.
