Fondue with Gruyère and Cheddar
Cheese fondue is an excellent Swiss specialty, into which we dip bread cubes. This dish is perfect for parties and gatherings, where good friends gather around the table with a glass of fine wine.

125 ml Alcohol, Wine, White

450 g Cheese, groats

450 g Cheese, Cheddar

50 ml Alcohol, Brandy

1 teaspoon Koruzni škrob

Steps

Place a heavy-bottomed pot on the stove and pour the wine into it. Heat the wine and gradually add the grated cheese while stirring. Stir until the cheese is completely melted.

Mix the kirsch into the cheese mixture, then add the starch. Stir until you get a completely smooth mixture.

Season the fondue with freshly ground white pepper and pour it into a warm serving dish, which is immediately served at the table. Dip the bread cubes into the warm fondue, skewering them on wooden or metal sticks.
