Fried Apples with Cinnamon
An excellent dessert that is unlikely to be forgotten. With sweet and juicy apple slices, we usually indulge in the colder months when domestic apples are in season. A cup of warm drink pairs well, and the apple slices can also be enhanced with a dollop of Greek yogurt.

Ingredients
Dough
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
0.25 teaspoons Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
2 bags Sugar, white
-
2 dl Milk, whole milk
-
125 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
1 kg Apples, rose
-
pieces Juice, lemon
-
pieces Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
pieces Powdered sugar
Steps
-
In a bowl, first whisk the egg and mix it with vanilla sugar, milk, salt, cinnamon, and flour. You should get a smooth and slightly thicker batter, similar to pancake batter.
-
Wash and peel the apples. Use a round cutter to remove the cores, then slice them into approximately 1 cm thick rings. Drizzle them with lemon juice to prevent browning.
-
Dry the apple rings well with paper towels, then dip them into the batter and fry them golden brown on both sides in heated oil. Fry each side for 3-4 minutes or until they turn golden brown and crispy. Place the fried rings on a plate lined with paper towels.
-
Serve the still-warm apple rings on plates and sprinkle them with powdered sugar. Pair with a cup of warm drink.
