Ingredients
-
100 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
1 teaspoon Baking powder
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
0.25 teaspoons Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
150 ml Milk, whole milk
-
3 pieces Banana, fresh
-
pieces Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
2 teaspoons Honey
Steps
-
In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the whisked eggs and half of the milk. Mix well and gradually add the remaining milk. Once you have a smooth batter without lumps, stop mixing. The batter should be slightly thicker than pancake batter.
-
Heat the oil in a deep pan (or pot). Peel the bananas and cut them into 1.5 to 2 cm wide pieces. Dip each piece into the prepared batter and carefully place it into the hot oil. When the bites turn golden brown on the bottom side, carefully flip them and fry on the other side.
-
Remove the fried banana bites from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels. Once the excess oil has drained, serve them on plates, drizzle with a little honey, and enjoy.

Advice
Fry in a large amount of fat. The food should float in it. For frying, use fats that do not contain water, such as coconut oil or good quality oil. The fat is hot enough when small bubbles form around a wooden spoon handle.
